Start by rolling over your parrot half the way with your right hand and complete the roll over with your left hand and then reward him. When your parrot gets used to this, roll him only half the way with your right hand and reward with your left hand when he/she finishes the trick. With enough practice your parrot will roll over by himself. Then start to use a cue by pointing his left wing with your hand and saying "roll".

Merry Christmas Coco
Today I helped Coco opening his Christmas gifts. Santa gave him 3 toys and a harness. Then he spent a lot of time playing with the new toys. After we spent some time practicing basic tricks I let him enjoy some millet spray pellets near the Christmas tree.

How to Teach your Parrot to Go Through a Tube
This article is about how to teach your parrot to go through a tube. For this trick, your parrot needs to be tamed and know target training. For large birds you can use a PVC tube and for small birds a toilet paper roll. You can place the tube or the toilet paper roll on a table or on the floor. Any bird can learn this. If your parrot gets scared about new things, start by introducing the tube and showing him that there isn’t reason to get scare.
There is no way that your parrot will go through the tube by himself on the first training session, so you will have to force him by putting him/she at the entrance of the tube with no way out and reward him when he/she comes out on the other end. Your parrot will learn that if he goes though the tube he will get a treat. Then start by targeting your parrot. When your parrot get used to this, start using a cue for example “tube”. With enough practice your parrot will go through the tube by itself.

How to Teach your Parrot to Turn Around
This article is about how to teach your parrot to turn around. This trick is very easy and any bird can learn it. For this trick your parrot need to be hand tame and he/she should accept treats. Coco learned this trick in 15 minutes, but all birds are different so don't get mad if your parrot don't turn around on the first training session. Remember you need to be patient.
To begin the turn around trick put your parrot on a training perch, chair back or table. Then you are going to hold a treat on your right hand and another one on your left hand. Move the treat on your right hand slowly around the parrot. He/she is going to try to catch (follow) the treat and when he/she finishes the turn around you are going to gave the treat on your left hand to your parrot. Then start moving your right hand around him without the treat. When your parrot get use to this start moving your hand in front of him instead around him and start using a cue for example ''turn''.
